Quite a few people said this can be used year round and I expected it to be slightly lighter and more floral. I'm wondering if it's a combination of the green apple and something earthy--but It strongly reminds me of kitty litter box odor destroyer spray, or the deodorizer that vet clinics use to mask the smell of urine.

If you like Alien or Alien Fusion you will probably like this as the jasmine is the most prominent note. The longevity is decent with it lasting 7hrs on my skin with a moderate silage, it makes me think of being wrapped up in my scarf, coat and boots while walking down a street in Oxford on a cool autumn/winter morning. It's like they used Dolce Garden as a base and then added high quality tuberose - even though tuberose is not a listed note. Notes of Iris, Coffee, Pear, Rose, and Orange Blossom intertwine, creating a bouquet of sweet and delicate scents. minutes to an hour is what I get for longevity, and that is with me doing three sprays in one spot on clothes.

I can understand the appeal - it's right on the bucks for the younger generation - but it's frankly not so good or original.I now have both this and Alien Goddess Intense in my collection and while I see the similarities they each shine in their own way. The powder from the violets and iris along with some freshness from the rose remain on my skin for quite a while, some very airy yet sweet nuances from the vanilla and caramel do peak through towards the end of the dry down but a healthy dose of patchouli and the powder from the floral notes help to keep The Only One refined and classy. I would compare this to a more elevated YSL Black Opium, or a less chaotic Carolina Herrera Good Girl.

However,I will have to say that the opening reminds me a lot of Givenchy L'interdit (which I don't like) but after maybe 15 seconds (yes that fast) it blossoms to someth While I think this works better for cooler seasons as opposed to working all-year-round, I could see this transition from day to night pretty well.

It's the combo of the prominent violet note mixed with the caramel with just a hint of bitter coffee that makes this interesting.

I detest patchouli but if the overall pyramid looks interesting enough and patchouli isn't high up in the notes I might give it a try. It is pretty similar, although a bit airier, than Black Opium, but Black Opium is in my opinion longer lasting and does not give me a headache. Like the woman it represents, the fragrance is an intricate combination of intense and solar sensuality. I had great expectations, especially because of the 'reminds of' section, and I was ready to love it, but it fell short for me.But it’s one of those scents that I got tired of eventually and don’t feel like wearing anymore for some reason. I also get a lot of powdery violet / iris, dusty make up, artificial pear and plasticky sweetness (not necessarily caramel). Makes me feel like having a coffee with a vanilla desert wearing my favourite violet perfume mmmm So light and fluffy and addictive. It's the perfect finishing touch to any outfit, providing a subtle and alluring aroma that is both captivating and enchanting.
